Founder programme

The Founder programme is for the first ten MSPs to come onto OpsMerge. Founders get a heavily-discounted rate locked for life, direct access to the people building OpsMerge, and a vote on the roadmap.

What you get

  • A locked-for-life monthly rate. Whatever you pay on day one is what you pay in year five. We can raise prices for new customers but Founders are insulated. This is contractual, not a "we'll try our best" promise.
  • A heavy discount on the published rate. The Founder coupon (applied automatically on signup with a Founder code) gives a meaningful reduction off the public Ease In or Crack On price.
  • Founder-only Discord channel. Direct line to the OpsMerge team. We post early access to features, share what we're working on, and ask for feedback.
  • Roadmap voting. Founders propose features and vote on each other's. The team reviews the top-voted items every two weeks. We don't promise to build everything voted in, but the signal is one of the heaviest inputs to our planning.
  • Beta access. Founders get features in beta first, usually a week or two before they go to general availability.

Why we built it

We're new. You're taking a bet on us. The Founder programme is how we make that bet less one-sided — we lock in our gratitude, you get to shape what OpsMerge becomes, and we get a tight feedback loop from real MSPs running real businesses.

We could promise this to every customer forever, but ten is the number where the feedback loop is small enough to actually work. Beyond ten Founders, the channel gets noisy, the voting gets diluted, and the offer stops being meaningful. So we cap it.

Who qualifies

  • You're one of the first ten MSPs to sign up as a paid customer of OpsMerge after the public launch.
  • You're running a real MSP business — not a hobby or a one-person experiment. (We're not strict about this; we just want the feedback to come from people in the daily grind.)
  • You're willing to engage. The Discord is opt-in but actively used by Founders — if you sign up and never engage, you still get the locked rate, but the value of the programme is in the conversations.

If you're not sure whether the first-ten window is still open, check opsmerge.cloud/founder. If the page is gone, the programme is closed.

How to claim a slot

  1. Get a Founder code. These are issued via the opsmerge.cloud/founder page while slots remain. One code per MSP.
  2. Sign up at app.opsmerge.cloud/signup and enter the code on the plan-selection step.
  3. The Founder discount applies automatically. Your subscription shows as Founder in Settings → Billing.
  4. Join the Discord — the invite link is sent in your welcome email.

What "locked for life" actually means

  • The monthly rate is locked. As long as your subscription stays active, the rate doesn't change.
  • The included asset quota is locked. We won't quietly raise it (would benefit you) or lower it (would hurt you).
  • Plan upgrades: if you move from Ease In to Crack On as a Founder, the Crack On rate you get is the Founder-Crack-On rate, not the public Crack On rate. The discount carries through plan changes.
  • Asset packs also get the Founder rate.

What's not locked:

  • Feature scope. OpsMerge will keep adding features — Founders get them at no extra cost, but we reserve the right to introduce a new add-on (separate from plans + packs) for genuinely new product surfaces. If we ever do this, Founders get first refusal and a discount.
  • Cancellation. Cancel your subscription and the Founder lock is gone. Resigning later puts you on the public rate.
  • Tenant ownership. The lock applies to the tenant + the original Founder MSP. Sell your MSP, the new owner gets the lock too (we don't punish acquirers). Spin out a separate company under a separate Stripe account, that's a new customer.

Roadmap voting in practice

  • Anyone can propose. Open a post in #founder-roadmap on Discord.
  • Anyone can vote with a thumbs-up reaction. One vote per Founder per item.
  • We review every two weeks. The top three items get prioritised for the next planning cycle. We post the decision and the reasoning back to Discord.
  • Veto reasons are honest. If we don't build a top-voted item, we'll say why. Common reasons: security/compliance concern, conflict with another planned feature, dependency on something not yet built, or we genuinely don't agree with the direction. We don't filibuster — if we disagree, we'll say so.

What we ask of Founders

  • Be vocal. The programme works because you tell us when something is broken, missing, or wrong. Bug reports, feature requests, vibes — all welcome.
  • Be patient with bugs. We move quickly and ship often. Sometimes things break. Founders are the first to see breakage and the first to see the fix.
  • Be honest in feedback. If a feature is bad, tell us. We'd rather hear it on Discord than read it as a churn reason six months later.

Common questions

"Are Founder slots still available?" Check opsmerge.cloud/founder. If the signup form is there, yes. If not, the ten slots are gone.

"What's the discount, in numbers?" See the Founder code's landing page. The discount is substantial — we wanted it to genuinely move the needle for early-stage MSPs.

"Can I be a Founder for one of my plans (Ease In) and not the other (Crack On)?" The Founder rate applies to whichever plan you're on, including after upgrades. You're a Founder customer, not a Founder-on-this-specific-plan.

"What happens at slot 11?" The programme closes. Future customers pay the public rate. Existing Founders keep their lock indefinitely.
