Managing your subscription
Everything about your OpsMerge subscription lives on the Billing page: Settings → Subscription in the sidebar (or /billing directly). It shows your current position and is the only place you need for payment admin.
What the page shows
- Current plan — Ease In or Crack On, the monthly price, and your status: Trial (with days remaining), Active (with the renewal date), or a warning state if something needs attention.
- Managed assets — a usage meter of billable assets against your plan's included count. What counts as an asset is defined in Plans.
- Pending plan change — if you've scheduled a downgrade, a banner shows the target plan and effective date, with a one-click cancel.
Upgrading from trial
During your 90-day trial the page shows an Upgrade button. Pick a plan, pay by card through Stripe Checkout, and you're active immediately - the trial's remaining days don't expire anything early. Promotion codes (like the open-beta code) are entered on the Stripe Checkout page.
Changing plan
Once subscribed, Change plan takes you to the plan-change screen:
- Upgrades apply immediately. You pay a prorated difference for the remainder of the billing period; the exact amount is shown before you confirm.
- Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current period - you keep what you paid for. Cancel a scheduled downgrade any time before it takes effect.
Payment details and invoices
Manage payment & invoices opens the secure Stripe customer portal, where you can:
- Update your card or billing address
- Download past invoices and VAT receipts
- See upcoming charges
You return to the Billing page when you're done. OpsMerge never sees or stores your card details - they live with Stripe.
Promotion codes
Already subscribed and been given a code? Enter it in the Promotion code box and it applies to your existing subscription from the next invoice. The code's own rules (duration, eligible plans) are enforced automatically, and the page confirms exactly what was applied.
Not subscribed yet? Codes are entered at checkout when you upgrade.
Cancelling
Cancel from the Stripe portal (Manage payment & invoices → Cancel plan). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period; you keep access until then. There's no exit call and no retention scripts - though we'd genuinely like to know what pushed you out, and the founder reads every reply.
